Moving protected file

Can you explain what you mean exactly, when you say that your XP got crushed?

Are you able to start up your computer?

Hi Irene,

I cant start windows. So now I installed Windows XP in D:

But my Protected folder is in C:\my Documents.

when I tried to open that folder, I got the message, 'Access Denied'. So how to get those files?

Can I take that folder before the windows starts, by using command prompt?

Can you try to boot into your original Windows system in Safe Mode; this should allow you to access and copy your files.
