Your hard drive activity can't be measured by percent; either it is being used or it isn't. What you can find out is the speed of your hard drive (bandwidth, latency, internal data rate), though most of these are found using benchmarks rather than updating in real time. I believe there are some Linux utilities that do this, but I don't know about Windows.Unless you're just looking for how much of your hard drive is full in which case go to My Computer, right click on the hard drive, and click on Properties and it'll give you a pretty pie graph of how much of it is occupied. Coreper Posted March 29, 2008 Author Report Share Posted March 29, 2008 also, another tool which shows the used diskspacei do not want a program to show that > i already got Windows Explorer for that...i need a tool to see how much the disk is "used" [balast] by applications...for example: when youre doing a defragmentation the usage is high, but when your listening to some music only, the disk usage is low...i hope you understand what im saying...@Raddy:i just read your post: thanks for the info!too bad disk usage isnt like the cpu usage...
