paicanuck
I am looking into buying a tv tuner for my new laptop. But my question is... if I live out in the boonies that doesn't even have cell phone service, where is the signal going to come from? I am 45 kms. from the closest town. The only communication I have with the outside world is satellite phones and musak. I live in Alberta Canada. Thanks

-pops-
Are you able to receive a normal terrestrial television service i.e. via an aerial? Are you able to receive television via satellite?Either or both of those, Hauppauge should be able to answer your queries http://www.hauppauge.com/
Scarecrow Man
There is no magical invisible signal that will magically come into your computer once you have a tuner installed. You must receive a signal the same way you would with a television. For example, Cable, Satelite, etc..
