nickster
Task Manager had been disabled by something; a reboot didn't fix it, still disabled; I ran a complete spybot scan, and that change showed up in the results; it fixed it, I did CTRL-ALT-DEL and Task Manager came up One for Spybot! :D

Yahoo e-mail is okay although I know what you mean about the Yahoo toolbar! When my son toured the world, he asked me to install Yahoo messenger so that he could keep in touch. I was never so glad to see the back of a program, talk about invasive, it tried to take over the whole show. NEVER EVER AGAIN.
Dencandy
Yahoo e-mail is okay although I know what you mean about the Yahoo toolbar! Not at all, these came with the e-mail download screen & was identified as coming from Yahoo, according to Spybot. Also, I read Microsoft have made a take-over bid for Yahoo. I wonder what the consequences of that will be? Less choices, I suppose.
