andsome
I am visiting my son, and he is videoing the build of his new house. He is using Mini DV tapes. Can anyone make a recommendation as to the best editing software to use. He needs to edit, and fade in and out to captions. He has only 512 MB of ram on his hard drive which has about 50GB of free space. If needs be he will buy more ram and a plug in external hard drive. He uses XP Home. :D
-pops-
I've always thought that WinDVD Creator to be amongst the easiest and best to use.http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite/us/...t/1177441133981Avoid Pinnacle!!! It's complicated and, in my view, difficult and unreliable.
Irene
I hear what -pops- says about Pinnacle, but I use it and find it OK.However, I still think that Windows Movie Maker is very good and is there already in XP. :D Start, run, moviemk. andsome
Very many thanks both. I have put pops suggestion into his favourites folder, and saved Irene's suggestion for him.
