hi, i cant burn dvds haha. Ive tried everyting and i couldnt imagine its that hard but i just cant get it to work. Im trying to burn MPG and AVI format videos to a DVD. I converted and burnt one but it stopped playing halfway through the movie? slower burn speed?

also how do you burn images to a DVD? do you just throw the JPG straight on?

I have a pack of 20 DVD-R and burnt some MP3s to them, and tried to play them in my car...but they wouldnt read. I tried the same thing on a DVD-RW and it worked fine.

Please help...Cheers

If you are trying to burn in MPG or AVI format the files MUST be written as data files. Are you doing this? These will only be reliably playable through a computer. For playing on a DVD player they need to be converted to the correct DVD format.

Regarding putting MP3 files on a DVD and playing in a car player, are you sure the player can read DVD disks. DVD players aren't at all common in cars for safety reasons.

Why are you putting MP3 files on a DVD? There is capacity for gazillions of MP3s on a DVD disk and it just seems a waste of the space there to even think about doing that, apart from the confusion in searching for a particular track or piece.
