Boris
2 possibilitiesA Download codecs from here (this is what -pops- would suggest :D ) :-http://www.download.com/K-Lite-Mega-Codec-...4-10794603.htmlB Install this .... VLC Media Player (Open Source) :-VLC media player is a highly portable multimedia player for various audio and video formats (MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DivX, mp3, ogg, ...) as well as DVDs, VCDs, and various streaming protocols. It doesn't need any external codec or program to work.http://www.videolan.org/vlc/- it plays literally anything :) with no additions needed
-pops-
- - - or both.VLC is very tiny and will not hog space.
Irene
Thanks Boris, -pops-.I've just saved the codecs file and the VLC to my desktop. I know absolutely zero about codecs! Is there anything I need to do during the installation? There is something described as "Unattended Installation", which looks 'straightforward-ish to me. -pops-
Just let it install. Your DVD program will find the codec when it needs it, no further input from you.
