To cut a long story short, I have had some trouble with my computer, it was playing up so gave it a good clean, all ok now.Now on my second hardrive I have 20 files plus 1 hidden.For some reason the option has gone to tick or untick hidden files in Tools/Folder options/Veiw tab.The other way to find hidden files is to right click anywhere on the page and go to Properties, then tick "Hidden" option there.But if I do that once I have double clicked on the hardrive I get the properties box of the hardrive come up instead of folder options.Can anyone tell me if there is another way of accessing the hidden files on this hardrive?I have also gone to Start/Settings/control panel/folder options, but still no option to access hidden files.Hope I have been clear enough to understand many thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Irene Posted August 2, 2008 Report Share Posted August 2, 2008 You could try...Start, My Computer, touch the drive in question once.There should now appear an option on the left hand side, under "System Tasks", to Hide or Show Hidden files.
