Irene
I didn't know this, so I thought that I would pass it on for anyone else who is unaware. :D Before committing to buy a new (used) car, it's possible to check not only the MOT status, but also the MOT history. The website is www.motinfo.gov.uk.You need the following...the registration number of the vehicle andeither the test number from the new style MOT test certificateor the document reference number from the V5C registration certificate
mark2
I did, but then I see the back of the certificates 6/7 times daily when printing MOT certificates as an MOT tester :D for you Irene, for actually reading the back, there is also information on what to do if you think the vehicle shouldn't have passed it's MOT when it was tested.
