buba
Every time I attempt to save a file I am offered to save it in those childishly named locations like "My Documents" , "My Music", "My Etcetera".How can I change these addresses for the ones I really use?Tk´s
andsome
I have NOT done this myself, but if I right click on these folders I am offered the option to rename. Have you thought to try this yourself? Personally, I would say that the names are far from childish, just self explanatory.

I am not wishing to rename folders. I know how to rename them very well. I believe everybody knows it.What I want is to alter the addresses of the locations offered to me when I attempt to save the different file formats.P.S. Also hate childish answers. AlanHo
I would suggest you post your problem in another forum. You are unlikely to get much help here if you respond like that to someone who tried to offer assistance. You clearly "misinterpretated" the situation.
Scarecrow Man
They are system folders and should not be changed. Here is an article on how to change My Computer, but again it is not recommended. http://www.theeldergeek.com/rename_my_comp..._on_desktop.htm
