There were many very "ordinary" comics, jugglers, musician etc. and then every so often a gem would appear. Rob Wilton was, in my opinion, very good as was Sandy Powell, on stage. Others who were famous seemed over rated to me. Max Miller, George Formby. Norman Evans, Arthur Askey. Tommy Handley all pretty "non funny" in my book.
