andsome
I only found out this morning that it is possible to click onto a members name and leave a comment on their profile. This happened to me today when a rather unpleasant character who does not visit very frequently left a rather rude and insulting comment on my profile. The comments left by others can be found on the right hand side of the page. There is a small cross to delete comments left by others. It is possible to click on My Controls/Edit personal portal information and disable this setting, and enable comments only to be posted with your approval. I hope that this information is of use to you all, to avoid unpleasant comments by unpleasant people. I will not be publishing this small minded persons name. However, for someone to make offensive posts on your personal profile is inappropriate.

Luckily, I am thick skinned enough not to let such small minded actions bother me, but it may possibly upset others. Hope that you have done the necessary on your profile. There really are some sad individuals about aren't there?

There really are some sad individuals about aren't there? You are correct. I do, and others like me do take things personally. Thank you for the alert. If something similar should happen to me now, I would try to dismiss it as you have done.
