JRE Won't Install Or Uninstall !HELP!

Well My Java Was Working Fine About 2 Months Ago.

Then I Did A System Restore And Had To Reinstall My Java.

Then After I Did That System Restore I Couldnt Get Any Java Batch Files Or .bat That Have 'java' As The Command to Work.

So I Did A System Restore And Now My Got Deleted And Now It Wont Let Me Reinstall Java Since It Got Deleted And It Says This When i Try To Reinstall It It Has And Error Saying

Have you tried searching the JRE help page here http://java.com/en/download/help/index.xml?

One question - are you using an Administrator account to try to install JRE? Unless you are, Windows will block the installation.

Download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility from [url[http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301

Use this tool to remove the corrupt JRE installation, and you should then be able to install it again.

P.S. make sure that you cleanly uninstall all older JRE versions.

What's the name of the file you're trying to download?

Also, what Operating System are you using? 32/64 bit?

They all mean something when downloading this kind of stuff. :(

It might just be that you're trying to download the Linux jdk or something.

Or, you might have not have installed it with the proper options selected by accident...
