wop_nuno Posted October 27, 2008 Report Share Posted October 27, 2008 Hi Everyone,I've recently formated my laptop, and in the other day i updated the internet explorer version (6) to the 7.After that i restarted the computer and the IE is now on the previous version which is the 6. The Windows Update alert or from the internet site?To properly re-install updates from the alert you have to reboot the PC for them to properly install and if you don't straight away (not all the time), they don't work.I had that problem anyway. wop_nuno Posted October 28, 2008 Author Report Share Posted October 28, 2008 The windows made an update and installed the IE7. After that i opened the IE and the IE7 was working fine. After i restarted the computer when i opened the IE it had gone to the previous version.I downloaded the IE from the Microsoft web site and installed and it all went right, and it was working fine, but after i restarted the computer again, the IE went again to the old IE version.
