Keyboard problem

I have had format the hard drive and install everything. I now find that the @ key is where the " key is rather than where the labelled @ key is. As far as I can see, I have set everything to U K English but the problem remains. Can anyone help? :(

Go to Control panel/Regional and language options then select the Languages tab and click the Details button. This will open a new window called "Text services and input languages" on the Settings tab ensure that the keyboard language selected is "English(United Kingdom)". if it isn't listed, use the Add button on the right to get it put on the list.

You obviously skipped over this during the installation. I have done this myself in the past. :D

Please note that this suggestion will only work properly if the physical keyboard itself is set up for the UK market. However try it. If it works, it works.
