A lot of the time when I'm on this forum, at the bottom of the index page where all the online members are listed is Google.com, Inktomi Spider and Ask Jeeves, but they aren't users. I've seen that WF is using AdSense (or other ads placed by Google), but is that what it is? If so, what are the others?I suppose, yes, I'm being nosey. doug Posted December 10, 2008 Report Share Posted December 10, 2008 I think they're something like bots. e.g. Glorious Google spends all of it's time searching the web looking for things it's constructors have told it to look for. These are fed into it's data base so when you Google for something it will list all those sources it thinks are relevant. I quite often spot links to our forum listed there. Same goes for the others.
