ron1210 Posted January 25, 2009 Report Share Posted January 25, 2009 I ran windows updates and restarted my computer.Now I see nothing below the icons of Windows. There used to be a "Start button" now there is none and I can't turn-off unless I just punch the botton on the tower as far as I know (I am afraid to try because I generally get an "un-natural termination" message. Also at the bottom of the screen there used to be a list of things on the right side, and then the time. These are missing too? As a last thing, before when looking at a file and then looking at anothere file without closing the first one there would be a box at the bottom of the screes for the 'inactive' file.
