Hi Jay, to answer your question we need some information about what is in your computer and what size PSU you have at the moment.

If you are unsure of your components, install this program and it will tell you.

Well spotted Boris, I forgot to say he will need to take the side of his case to find out to find out the wattage of the PSU.

Now you have PCWizard you can put your components into a PSU calculator which will tell you roughly what size PSU you need.

When you load the URL, click on Tools, Extreme calculator, Lite version, then fill the boxes in and click Calculate.

Thanks I have the PSU calculator now. In the meantime I have read that the 512MB ATI X1650 PRO I was thinking about is prone to overheating. Can anyone suggest other cards, similar price £50ish.

To get a recent 3650 AGP card you are going to have to pay around £60.00, Nvidia have a 6200 for £38.00.

Thanks. I can get PNY GeForce 6200 AGP 8X 256MB Verto Graphics Card for around £35. Does it matter that the card memory is DDR2 and my PC memory is DDR? Sorry if this sounds naive but I'm no expert.
