AlanHo
Over the past few years I have tried several programs to monitor my Internet usage - but the best one so farIs this oneYou can easily see the volume of downloads and uploads each day - each week - each month and cumulative since the last reset. It's useful if you ever wonder how near you get to your ISP's download limits.(Don't be put off by the title "Read Error" - it really is the name of the site). andsome
Surely this is of interest only to those who download loads of noisy tunes etc. Possibly too to those with restrictive I.S.P's :D

bleuken
Usually I don't monitor my internet consumption but with the mentioned site situation it should be monitored so that You will not reach max of your ISP allowed or somewhat inline with what your hardware can.
