NewUser
I have recently experienced a weird problem with my mouse in Windows 7. Up until now my extra mouse buttons was programmed to back and forward in firefox. Now they seem to have reprogrammed themselves to next track and previous track in media player. Also the mouse wheel seem to now adjust the volume in my speakers, and not scroll in windows. The change happened all by itself, and to my knowing I haven't updated any drivers. How can I adjust my mouse settings back again?

Dencandy
Did you also try the Troubleshoot options on the Mouse menu?
andsome
Are you experienced enough to be testing a Beta or pre release operating system? :D
NewUser
I'm using Windows 7 RC 1 (build 7100). I was unable to find any mouse troubleshoot in the control panel. It's really strange that Windows started behaving this way all of a sudden. Seems strange that it is so hard to customize the mouse buttons. Dencandy
I didn't read your first post properly & thought you were referring to IE7. But Windows 7 is a new operating system still not offically released to the general public as the previous answer states. Your best bet is to go to the official Microsoft Windows 7 How to & Help AT THIS LINK. Look through the item on the left of that page called Compatability & if you can't find your answer there go to the Ask the Community site which is listed there on the right.
