Boris Posted September 6, 2009 Report Share Posted September 6, 2009 Boot up holding down the F8 key.Choose the Start in "safe mode with networking" option.Download, install and update MalwareByte's Anti-malware http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.phpRun the quick scan.Let it clean all the malware it finds, then close MBAM, shut down and start as normal. Dencandy Posted September 7, 2009 Report Share Posted September 7, 2009 What I would do first is to try to find out more about the cause of this problem. To do that open Control Panel, then Performance & Maintenance > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer. This gives you basic information about everything that happens on your computer. Open each of the 4 items listed there one by one and look for any items with red crosses against them. Right click on these and make a note of what you are told.Post back here the results.
