Photo Gallery is intended to show and edit digital pictures from cameras and scanners, so some older file types that are not commonly used for digital pictures today will not appear in Photo Gallery. If you have picture files with .gif extensions, for example, they will not appear in Photo Gallery and can't be edited using the Fix pane. Heisenberg Posted September 8, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 8, 2009 It is obvious that Windows Picture Gallery has serious limitations in that it will not show GIF or PDF files (and more) and will not even inform the user on its limitations. Is there another picture browser with no such limitations. I liked Windoes Picture Gallery because of its feature to show pictures from all my folders, without the need to put all images in just one folder. Heisenberg Posted September 9, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 9, 2009 I have already IrfanView, and also PMB from SONY (Picture Motion Browser)which came with my camera, and Window Media Player etc but none of them can do the trick to show all pics from all my documents without requiring that I manually find all of them and gather in one folder.
