Dencandy
Welcome to the forum alocktbn. Do you know how to start in Safe Mode? Keep tapping F8 as your computer begins to boot and select the Safe Mode option on the screen that comes up. If this is successful you should be able to copy all your important data to a USB drive, then you can start to sort out the computer problem. What message is shown on the blue screen? On mine I have to tap F5. Tapping F8 gives me a screen giving me options as to which drive to boot up from, either of the main hard drives or either of the DVD/CD drives. Hope you sort the problem. :D
rong
If you have access to another PC you could put the hard-drive into it as a slave, you may then be able to get the information you need off of it then you could try a repair of windows. Boris
Repair installation of XP will allow you to keep your current documents and applications intact but will reinstall Windows XP. This is not the same as a format and reinstall of Windows XP and is a lot less time consuming.?http://www.simplyguides.net/guides/repair_...lation_xp.shtml

Boris
For the License key - install SIW :-http://www.gtopala.com/and look under Licences.Or similarly, try Belarc Advisor ?http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
