catgate
It would probably help if you could give a little more detail about what Operating System you are running and also more detail of the computer and its components. Boris
D drive Recovery - My concern is that it shows up as RED (as it always had) however its rather full - it says "383mb Free of 5.87GB.You should have no worries at all :) - you only ever need to access the Recovery Drive as and when you need to recover the PC back to its original Day 1 configuration in the event of a catastrophe. Hb_Kai
The recovery disc that you should have been given when the PC was bought, that is used to copy the files from the recovery drive over to the primary drive - so when your computer is unbootable, tried every single possible solution to fix it, you will always have something to fall back on, providing you still have the recovery disc - I'm not sure if you can buy new ones or not though...
catgate
Data Recovery service can recover lost or corrupted data from powerful file recovery software engine. Why do I feel that this is a "set up"?
coryg91
Recovery D: is designed to hold only the files to do a complete reinstall of your original software and drivers_HP Recovery. The original files should be 'read only' and are usually hidden. It should not be used to backup files to,or be included in System Restore point creations. If you have saved files there, move them to a folder on C:.If you have System Restore enabled for D:,disable it.
