catgate
This seems a bit odd. Why should Glady Pugh (or whoever) try to stop these girls from doing something that their parents are obviously unconcerned about. They are obviously not concerned, because they do not stop them doing it. http://uk.news.yahoo.com/21/20090930/tuk-u...ds-6323e80.htmlI suppose we should ask why Gladys Pugh, and others, thinks they have a right to act in loco parentis. I suppose it maybe that many of these under 18s are parents themselves.
AlanHo
It should be recognised that people who provide sunbeds, sell cigarettes, encourage binge drinking, run places like MuckDonalds, deal in drugs and the like are doing society a service by reducing the population. Thus ensuring the survival of the fittest
andsome
Surely there is sufficient information available for anyone to know that people using sun beds need their heads examining. This restriction is equally as sensible as forbidding the sale of alcohol and tobacco to minors. Kids are not usually the best judges of what is good or bad for them. Parents who knowingly allow children to use sun beds should be prosecuted for endangering their health.
