Rebel=UK= Posted November 8, 2009 Report Share Posted November 8, 2009 Is anyone buying this on the 10th? i was soo looking forward to this until i found out that it will have NO dedicated server support at all. What this means is that the modding community can no longer make custom maps or mods and you will have to rely on peer-to-peer connections, just like the console version. So now we will not have 1 server we can go on to see the same people playing, instead we will have to rely on the "match making system" where the new IW.NET will find a game for you, and i very much doubt that the standard home connection could handle more than 8 players without a major lag fest.
