andsome
On the whole I am very pleased with Windows 7, however a problem has occurred twice when using a memory stick. Everything on the memory stick opens fine, except on two occasions so far. I have twice had problems in opening saved e mails. On those occasions, again, everything else will open fine, so the problem must be in Windows live mail and windows 7. I try to open a stored e mail, and it will not open, giving me a request to nominate a program to use to open the e mail, but none of those on offer will do so. Putting in my back up from Acronis starts everything working again fine. I use Home Premium Windows 7. I use C Cleaner, and from time to time Windows one care live safety scanner. Could either of these cause such a problem. :D

Scarecrow Man
Sounds like something is taking over your default mail client. Or at least changing how the .eml extension is being handled.Do you use a web based email like hotmail, yahoo (as example) or do you use a software email like Thunderbird or Windows Mail? Everything is fine for several days, then suddenly everything except saved e mails will open as before. :D
