MANEMAN Posted January 13, 2010 Report Share Posted January 13, 2010 Hi Gordon.Well it would be too much of an understatement to say "It shouldn't do that" :( I cant think of anything obvious that would be causing it, but setting to "5 minutes", saving changes, rebooting, and then doing a setting for one day again may just give it the kick it needs.If you are not using it on battery at all, untick the power save box just in case it is cutting in.Although Windows 7 has got this feature, I dragged over one my favourite apps from XP as a wallpaper changer.This is, free, Open Source, highly configurable, and Apart from a splash screen that calls me a "Wally" when I boot up, a better offering than what is in "7". I know it is one more thing to drain resources, but never mind. :) **Wally Wallpaper Changer** Direct Download Win 32 Executable **HERE**The only other thing I can think of in your case is that it is just a small but annoying glitch. You could try running the Windows 7 Repair Disk and see if that fixes it. W7 has only been about for eighteen months or so. Could you tell the time at all, let alone correctly, when you were only eighteen months old?
