MANEMAN
Can someone can suggest me a good topic about softwares or applications that is not yet implemented in windows? :)can you share your ideas? ( Please give me but at the same time not that hard to implement. )Regards, nemesis :)Hi There, and Welcome. As it is for something as lofty as a thesis, howzabout a Virtual Floppy Drive for the " 64-bit Windows 7 Operating System"At least one person on here would be very happy. :) To see what I mean click on this post: http://forums.windowsforum.org/index.php?showtopic=43755A very good subject for a thesis I would think, and you may even be able to get the author/s of previous attempts to help you out. Dencandy
My own favourite for Windows is simply a sign that appears on the screen when the system has finished booting and updating and is ready for use after switching on.Should be very simple, but with no programming knowledge, it's beyond my capabilities. Dencandy
Maybe the lack of suggestions suggests that, on the whole, users are pretty well satisfied with Windows, especially the new Windows 7 (which I don't have) especially now that Microsoft are now even providing a free antivirus and anti-malware product. The last remaining complaint on security is that the built in Windows firewall only protects against incoming malware but not outgoing if something like spyware has already been installed. This link has some sugestions to improve Windows 7: HERE.If you type "Windows annoyances" into a search engine you'll get lots more ideas. catgate
How about an application which runs in the background and monitors Download/Upload speeds, and which, when the level drops to below the speed upon which the User/ISP contract was drawn up, sends a 50,000 volt shock up the arm (or elsewhere) of the ISP CEO.
