-pops- Posted February 7, 2010 Report Share Posted February 7, 2010 So many times I have seen Windows made completely inoperable by injudicious "adjustments" being made to its inner working parts where ordinary mortal should fear to go.Unless you know EXACTLY what you are doing, don't. The normally hidden parts of Windows don't have the failsafe systems common on the normal GUI and one false keypress can completely wreck the setup.Whatever you decide to do on this, ensure you have a full (and working) backup of your system. On the Users tab, clear the "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" check box and click "Apply".4. Select the user you want to log on & click OK.
