tav0037 Posted September 7, 2003 Report Share Posted September 7, 2003 On sisters pc, when switch on , get a blue screen, saying windows is shutting down to prevent damage & mention something about "unbootable" & gives some values , eg 000000000, 0000000001 etc. :( Can anyome tell me if this is a windows fault or PC fault & will XP need to be re-installed.Many thanks in advance. tav0037 Posted September 7, 2003 Author Report Share Posted September 7, 2003 Got this over the phone.A problem has occurred.Unmountable_boot_volumeif problem occurs, disable any newly installed hard/software.Disable biomemory options such as caching or shadowing.If you need to , Safe Mode to remove/disable components.Restart computer, press F8 to select Advance Start-up option & select Safe Mode.STOP: 0X000000ED (0X80E95920, 0XC0000032, 0X00000000, 0X00000000) ------------------------------------When rebooting using Safe Mode or any mode after pressing F8, this screen appears almost immediately& the only thing I can do is reboot ...... straight back to the blue screen.Thanks .Shaun :rolleyes: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
