I've spent the last few days going to all the websites that I am registered at, even the ones that I rarely or never visit. It was good to see that the information I had submitted to these sites was basic and nothing that could identify me. I wasn't trying to hide anything but thought it best to keep info to a minimum. Luckily I must have thought of this many years ago. I did take the opportunity to clean up a few things, off course all sites are different but it was good to have a tidy up.

actually a good point Chris .... , I used to have my date of birth online , because sometimes it was nice to get the odd "Happy birthday" ... heh ...but not any more ...too often its the first question for ID in a bank .

So what - my mate's wife lost her credit card - but he found that the finder was spending less than she was - so he has not reported it.........
