vic Posted April 25, 2010 Report Share Posted April 25, 2010 Hi all i have a Dell and the HD IS 500GB but i only have somewhere between 10 to 13 available?..where in the heck is the other 480 or so?...i want to install windows 7 but i need 16gb free but i don't!..so if anyone can lead me in the right direction that would be sweet i just bought a seagate barracuda 500gb internal HD can i somehow install 7 on that and slap in to my DELL?..any help will be appreciated.ThanksVic Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

AlanHo Posted July 8, 2010 Report Share Posted July 8, 2010 Open Windows Explorer, expand your C: drive and right click on each folder then properties to see which folder(s) are using most space.You can then delve deeper into each folder and see which sub folders or files are hogging it.Have you downloaded and run CCleaner to get rid of all temporary files and other crud?
