AVG has just found this on my Computer and put it into the Virus Vault.

1 What is it?

2 should I be concerned?

Trojan horses are never good - but at least it has been quarantined.

I would do a full scan with AVG, and then run the freeware version of Mawarebytes Anti-malware from here :- http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

(download, install, update and then do a full scan with that).

If nothing else is found you should be alright.

Many thanks for the advise.

I have scanned with AVG Free version, Spybot, and a full scan with Malwarebytes and no problems were found.

But most advise raises futher questions!

I scan with AVG daily, and do a monthly Spybot scan. Should I also use Malwarebytes at regular intervals? If so should I do a full scan or quick scan?

With MB, I personally update it and do a quick scan about once a week - it only takes 5 mins.

I also do an update/ full scan with it if anything ever gets detected by my Anti-Virus.
