I opened the metal case ond found out it has an internal ide cd drive inside with a sticker that says manufactured march,1999 on the ide drive. there is nothing else writen on it. Looked through some of the old IBM and Iomega stuff too.For what you would spend to get it to function properly you could probably buy 2 new external CD Drives.If you see it as one of lifes little challenges that you really must conquer, be prepared to pay the price, or spend a lot of time. Feint heart never won Fair Lady. :lol: Otherwise mount it in a glass box, present it to a museum as a curiosity as pops suggested.John.
