I've been putting off resolving this issue for a while since I didn't know of a good forum to ask in, but I've decided to give it a shot here!So I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit running on my laptop, and everything was fine until it randomly started running a disk check of C: quite regularly every time I booted the laptop. It would give me almost no time to skip it. This would happen even after a perfectly normal shut down. It got really annoying. This has not happened that often in the past week or more, but now my Action Center always has "System Maintenance" on there. Even if I click on it and follow what it asks me to do, it comes up the next time I boot my computer. When I click on it, it first says "Detecting Issues". It then says "Attempt repairs of risk volume errors". "Reboot computer to repair volume problems such as bad sectors, lost clusters, cross-linked files, and directory errors." I then do this, but it still shows up the next time I boot up. Anyone know what the problem is? I'm wondering if the scan disk and this issue are related?Thanks!
