rong
The OEM shouldn't make any difference, it is just locked to one pc. I have always used OEM as it is cheaper and most retail computers are shipped with OEM
Azdian
what about upgrading to x64 will solve the problem ?
AlanHo
what about upgrading to x64 will solve the problem ?I doubt it - with your computer spec - Windows 7 should run flat out with no problems.
bludgard
Run Windows Memory Diagnostic at your convenience:Start orb>type MEMORY>select top item on list
bludgard
I just looked at your link/screenshot in your earlier post.Is that half the screen showing? And are those palm fronds in the foreground?Or is all that tearing?I would suspect a faulty GPU or memory the culprit if this is video tearing that is shown....Have you tried adjusting you screen refresh rate to a higher Hz?Can you adjust the clock rate on your graphics card? bludgard
Azdian, have you installed chip set drivers from your motherboard's site?--->http://www.gigabyte-usa.com/Support/Motherboard/Driver_Model.aspx?ProductID=3247Also,-if you haven't yet-run Windows Experience Index tool.--->Start>Control Panel>All Control Panel Items>Performance Information and Tools>either Run the assessment or the equivalent thereof. For some arcane reason, this should be run after a fresh installation of Windows.(It is supposed to "link" all of your hardware together and gives Windows a new home [marking these hardware components as it's native environment as it does]).Also, follow the path highlighted in the screenshot below and select circled content. This will give you a general system health report.
