windows media player in my windows 7 give only audio, no video, why?

I have replied already but seemingly no notice has been taken.

If it has worked previously, carry out a System Restore to a time when it did work or restore your system from the image/backup.

How long has it been acting up,johanmartino?

A few days?

A week?

A month?

More?

Did it start after installing a program?After running a cleaner of some sort?Or just all of a sudden quit?

Do you use this player often to view video files?

If you could do any of the two suggestions provided by -pops- earlier you'd be golden.;)

Do you have adequate antivirus/antimalware running on your machine?
