Doesn't recognize exe file

Can you copy the content of the disk to desktop and try running the .exe from there?

Is that the same as copying it to the hard drive, which it wont allow?

Effectively the same.Yes.

If this disk is write-protected,I do not know what to suggest.

One thing comes to mind is to use a standalone DVD/ROM to try to install if possible.:unsure:

I'm ignorant but, whats a standalone dvd/rom?

No problems with other disks.
