Belatucadrus
Sorry but the answer is no, Chrome doesn't have a menu bar.
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
That's why I uninstalled it immediately after trying it once. How can you do things without a menu bar - version information, check for updates, etc.?
Dencandy
Opera can be reduced to only one menu bar, with others easily viewable at the top or left as required.
Belatucadrus
How can you do things without a menu bar - version information, check for updates, etc.?You click on the spanner icon to the right of the main address window, it gives you a dropdown menu including "About" which shows current version and checks for updates. When I first tried Chrome I dumped it fairly quickly as I didn't like it, but there are now so many extensions that you can almost tweak it as much as Firefox. I'm currently using Comodo Dragon which is a slightly upgraded version of Chrome with better RAM handling & enhanced security, I'm also going to have a look at Iron.
