Anti-spam caracters

Friends,

I'm new here and I don't know if I am on the hight way.

My trouble is that every time I type the caracters to avoid spam I receive back a mesage saying it doesn't mach.

But it does mach!

I've been through this trouble a long time ago and I don't remember how to fix it.

Does anybod can help?

Where are you typing these characters which don't match ?

Some times, when we are to send an e-mail, we are ascked to copy a given sequencie of caracters in a box. That is a way of avoid spam. And the system repetedely rejects the leters I type in.

Therefore, I can't send the mesage.

Well... I'm useing the standard e-mail web servece.

Usually this type of confirmation is required when sending an e-mail for the first time to an address of UOL.

Your problem may be that the characters you have to type are a mixture of capital and lowercase letters.

I have come across this a few times, and they take some spotting.

I think this effect can happen if the keyboard language is different to the language of the Windows version.

I sometimes use a keyboard with a French key layout. My Windows version is British English and, although things are compatible for the most part there are some occasions where there is confusion in the computer - example:

The French key layout for the top row is AZERTY whereas on a UK keyboard it is QWERTY.

So, in some instances like security codes QW may be seen by the device as AZ and so on.

Not explained very well but I hope you can understand :)

Yes, Pops, I understand that, but it was working OK and now, all of a suden, it doesn't work any more.

I'm trying to remember all what I did mean time. I install a DPF reader but couldn't put it to work. Than I took my computer back to a previous point. It souldn't but that may cause the disfunction.
