andsome
Have you tried a system restore to a time before this started to happen, or MUCH better still do you have a mirror image back up in ACRONIS or similar?:D

-pops-
Is anything unusual reported in Event Viewer prior to these happenings? If it is a desktop machine, check that all internal connectors are securely pushed home.
Lawel
well there is this in the event viewer TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent TCP connect attempts. and HECI driver has failed to perform handshake with the Firmware. ( related the yellow error sign appearing on the Intel Managment Engine Interface ) and Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for a transaction response from the nvsvc service. and The time provider NtpClient is configured to acquire time from one or more time sources, however none of the sources are currently accessible. No attempt to contact a source will be made for 14 minutes. NtpClient has no source of accurate time. these are the only one appearing as a red error sign in the system event viewer
