bludgard Posted January 14, 2011 Report Share Posted January 14, 2011 Man.That is quite the question,LiveCd.Different operating systems use diverse filing systems.Some of the newer OSs have file systems that aren't recognized by current programs-yet.There are a couple I have used.Ultimate Boot CD (Brwse around in it,pretty dynamic in scope).TestDisk (For recovery-this is included with UBCD,though possibly not the latest version)'Ubuntu 10.10 LiveCD (in the Try Ubuntu mode-this recognizes current file systems,but not all).Any Windows Install media (for Windows file systems)The list gos on....Welcome to Windows Forum.Maybe another member has some suggestions.One edit:what live cds have you experimented with?
