AlanHo Posted April 20, 2011 Report Share Posted April 20, 2011 Our local police have reported that two recent house burlaries occured after the owners had their sat-navs stolen from their cars.The cars were parked on a supermarket car park and the thieves stole the sat-navs from the cars and immediately used the "Home" setting to locate the owners house - anticipating that no-one would be at home.The advice is to not use the "Home" setting on your sat-nav - but to set your house as a favourite under a coded name.
