Glenvern
Since moving over to Windows 7 I am having difficulty with some programs.I can't run Internet Explorer 64bit.I can't run Microsofts Picture it Photo. Is it just me or do others have this problem? The popup told me to delete iMesh but I don't have iMesh or at least I can't find it.Anyone know where it might be hiding? I run REGEDIT but that turned up nothing.

Digerati
64-bit IE works, but the rest of the Internet is not ready for 64-bit browsing. Most plug-ins like Flash don't have 64-bit versions. Just use 32-bit IE. Microsoft Picture It has been discontinued with Win7. They want you to use Windows Live Photo Gallery instead. The popup told me to delete iMesh but I don't have iMesh or at least I can't find it. iMesh is a file sharing client - typically used for P2P (peer-to-peer) filesharing, which is typically one the best ways to become infected with malware. If you did not install iMesh on your system, then another user of your system probably did. Got kids?I would do some serious anti-malware scanning. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
The next version of Flash Player (10.3, currently in beta) will run on 64-bit browsers.
Digerati
The next version of Flash Player (10.3, currently in beta) will run on 64-bit browsers. That will be nice. Now the rest of the addons need to catch up. I note the new and promising spell checker for IE9, Speckie, supports 64-bit too.
bludgard
I have POGO running on the wife's Win 7 lappy. I do not know what version of Flash (maybe BETA?) on 64 bit IE9. It had to be done. She has to have her POGO. It is fast as hell.I'll check installed programs on her machine and report anon. One
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
The next version of Flash Player (10.3, currently in beta) will run on 64-bit browsers.Adobe has just proven me wrong (again); they have just released 10.3.181.14 as a mere security update. Still no 64-bit support. The 64-bit version was originally to be 10.2, but then all of a sudden a security update 10.2 was released, and the 64-bit support version was changed to 10.3Now will 64-bit support be in 10.4, or perhaps 11.0...? PBaxter
I had some issues running programs and games in Win 7, but almost all of them run fine when I do one of these two things.1. Either try to run the program in Windows XP compatibility mode. (you can change the compatibility mode by right click properties and then select compatibility tab)2. Second option is try to force the program to be run as an Administrator.Good luck with that ...
