jim bean Posted August 20, 2011 Report Share Posted August 20, 2011 i have a 4-5 year old foxconn mobo with ubuntu and vista on same machine on same hdi have a led read out on the mobo itself, 2 numbers that will let me know if there is something wrong with my pcwhen i boot ubuntu 11.04 the numbers on mobo read 00 which is goodwhen i boot windows vista it reads f9 which is not in the foxconn manual for my moboMy question is: what does f9 mean and does it mean my mobo is dyingis this a product of grub2 or vista updates ?it happened in last 2 months, did not notice until 2 weeks ago Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
