bludgard
Glad to see MS is not shoving the tablet based OS on desk/lap tops. Although I have no issues with W7; a copy of W8 is a must for the toolbox.WDP really wasn't that bad. IE10 and a couple of other elements (can't remember what they were now) got my attention. I want product: Not problems. :DThanks for the post. I'll keep my eyes peeled.
Alan2273
Its still going with that Metro interface though. Why does it not offer a taskbar and start button for those who prefer it.

I can only assume it's to push the "Metro" style menu and/or tablet computing. If MS does't offer classic start menu on the final; it can be configured so. Titapade
I think Win8 will be worse than Win7. I don't want to buy this system. This Win OS isn't user-friendly for me. For example in Metro i can't use Chrome and ICQ because of two windows of ICQ. I hate new system of shutting down this Windows.
