Making my first computer need double checking please

hi im trying to make my own computer for the first time. my budget is around £400, the PC that im trying to achieve would be mainly use for gaming purposes such as running Diablo3 and World of Warcraft.

after long hours of planning and searching the web i came up with this spec:

there are few things i would like to know:

1. are they all compatible? will they work well?

2. shall i look for another motherboard? or this one is ok?

3. can i run a 64bit Window 7 on this build?

4. for obvious reason can i run diablo 3 at high setting?

6. lastly, any recommended build out there worth £400 less

Why have a micro ATX motherboard in a full size (ATX) case?

The motherboard does seem low cost. You might be better investing more money in that.

Building your own computer doesn't necessarily save money - it may do the opposite - but nothing quite beats the sense of satisfaction when you plug in and it springs into life (or not!). Even if it doesn't go first time, it's very interesting to sort the problem(s) out.

If you're thinking of buying a pre-built machine, go for a well known brand or, better, a local builder, rather than an unknown maker.

I 100% agree. I had a custom built pc. $2000. Did not include a monitor, keyboard, mouse, anything. That was just the case and all the guts. Along with Windows 7. Building your own, can lead to a bigger cost. Pre-built will more than likely make you sacrifice features or specs but will keep the cost down.

On looking at the pre-built one, the graphics card will not allow you to have all the bells and whistles on, it is not powerful enough.

Of the parts you have selected, I have to agree with pops, invest a bit more money in a better motherboard.
