ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
What is "right hand cursor"?
johnoo
Should have said " Right Hand Scroll Bar"
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
My guess is that it was some kind of memory problem; too much memory in use, maybe some corruption somewhere, so the program started to act weirdly.Best thing to do in such a situation, restart Windows, as you did. johnoo
Thanks, thought I would ask the question to learn
bludgard
One could try to uninstall the driver (mouse) via Task Manager and reboot the machine. Possible corruption goin' on.Just a stab in the oblivion.
johnoo
Bludgard,The problem has not occured again, but, do you mean "End the Process" within the Task Manager?I Assume you mean the Task Manager obtained by selecting Ctrl+Alt+Delete keys? bludgard
I should have written Device Manager. Thanks for pointing this out.

ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
I don't think there is a need to reinstall the mouse driver, since it happened only once, and everything works well now.
