doug Posted November 18, 2012 Report Share Posted November 18, 2012 I'm running Win 7-64 Home premium and every time I open my firefox Browser I'm getting messages from Avast (free) to say it has blocked a threat - Trojan. I've run the full Avast scan and also Trend on-line Housecall without any problems being found. I'm attaching a screen shot which I think is indicating a Javascript problem. any help here please. Couldn't find anything Add/Remove and seemed to have messed up with Malwarebytes so opted the re-install from a 12 month old backup from a separate HDD. Now just checking on all the updates. Having a bit of difficulty for Win 7 it says I'm up todate but that's as of last year. Like to get this out of the way so I can create fresh backups to replace the intermeadte ones. ( I had a clever device that set itself up using my Task Scheduler a while back !) I have restored from a few recent backups without any joy which is why I went the whole hog and went back a year (13 months) in fact. Will try to remember in future. However, I'm 75+ and knocking on a bit so memory isn't as good as it was. Now when was the lost time I went to the neccessarium, or was it yesterday?
